70 million years ago: A real story!

Dinosaurs are the most fascinating creatures of the world that lived few million years ago. I am sure each one of you who are reading this article will agree with me. We must thank BBC Earth’s team for bringing out these creatures into life for us. They are one of the few pioneers who out of their curiosity and interest in the subject went invading about this creature and finally came up with the show “Walking with Dinosaurs”. After a great success of this show the same BBC Earth’s team has come together to produce a 3D movie in the same name.

Walking with Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie, featured computer animated dinosaurs that we can see and feel alive in front of us. This story is about a migrating dinosaur family who were torn apart and who reunite during the Cretaceous period 70 million years ago. This movie is due to release by December 2013. This movie is the follow up of the BBC’s 1999 television series of same name. This series won three big awards out of which one was for the best visuals. The movie is believed to have much more advanced Visuals/computer graphics technology than the television series. This movie follows three Pachyrhinosaurus in their day-to-day life. This movie is a window to the Cretaceous period close to 70million years ago. This movie doesn’t have human encounters as humans hadn’t arrived then. This movie showcases the Dinosaurs behaviour in their life cycle.

For giving the perfect background to the movie, the filmmakers searched the whole globe, they wanted something matching to what they know that time was like. They wanted perfect landscape of that time, eventually they zeroed down to Alaska and an island off New Zealand. The Dinosaurs created by computer graphics were then placed in the environment and then the animation was done.  The movie makers believe that this movie with such advanced computer graphics technology and 3D in the big screen is going to take the Dinosaur action to a new level of close-up practicality.

Experts say that this movie will be a transformation to people thinking. After Jurassic Park which left the audience “WOW” in 1993 this movie is going to open up a completely new world for the audience. This will be the next quantum leap in the realm.  It will take people back in time and make them feel how these hunting, bleeding and snorting creatures lived and owned the mother earth during their time. It is definitely a worth watch, but surely these reviews are making the wait a bit harder.  Since the born of CG industry, 3D movies also gradually develop in film field. Each time, there’re always some impressive scenes of these movies affect the multitude. As one field of the CG industry, rendering farm also affected by them.
